By far, my most iconic cosplay is Captain Jack Sparrow. Jack was my third ever cosplay-disquised-as-a-Halloween-costume, which I made for my office Halloween costume competition and party. Not yet confident in my own ability to come up with cosplay methodology, I followed Alyson Tabbitha’s (the reason I got into cosplay in the first place!) tutorials as closely as possible.

I have been a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise for years since the first movie came out (and I am SO EXCITED to see the role reprised by Margot Robbie in the upcoming film).

Here are a few shots of my costume, which I drove an hour and a half to a beach for (it’s all about the ambiance and details you guys) and had my cousin shoot!

Also, this was the first official YouTube video I ever made – marking the ~birth~ of my YouTube influencer dreams.
