As someone who is obsessed with Marvel, it’s surprising that it took me several years to finally do a Marvel cosplay. Finally, enter: Black Widow.

I originally ordered this human hair wig from Aliexpress for a Cheryl Blossom cosplay – but was able to repurpose it for Natasha. Getting the right color for her wig was a huge ordeal. The wig was definitely artificially red, with an unrealistic level of saturation. After trying week-long soaks in purple and blue shampoos, color oops treatments, dawn soap, baking soda, etc. I broke down and resorted to a bleach bath – which turned out to be the only effective method to removing some of the original dye.
